Indians get Key deal

Financial services company KeyBank has extended its promotional relationship with Major League Baseball's Cleveland Indians.

The deal sees the firm add the designation 'Banking Home of the Cleveland Indians' through to 2005.

Says Karen Haefling, chief marketing officer for KeyCorp: "We've enjoyed a strong relationship with the Cleveland Indians since the opening of Jacobs Field in 1994.

"The Indians organisation is a pillar of our community, and there's great enthusiasm here at Key for the team and building on the collaborative opportunities we've set before us."

Key's sponsorship consists of a variety of elements including presence of the Key logo on the main scoreboard and outfield wall, and support of the Cleveland Indians' community relations programmes.
