The decision follows FIFA's announcement yesterday that the FIFA Youth World Championship in the United Arab Emirates was to be put on hold and staged at a later date.
Said a spokesman for the event: "Whilst extremely unfortunate and despite the safe environs of Dubai and the UAE, irrespective of war in Iraq, the general perception and climate is such as to render the event devalued should we hold it on the prescribed dates.
"It will be therefore rescheduled for the Fall and we trust that all of our associates - sponsors, delegates, and exhibitors alike will recognise that everyone’s best interests will be served by having a great Soccerex later in the year in Dubai unaffected by war."
Rescheduled dates will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
