Vancouver plays host to a top level delegation from the IOC this week as it looks to establish itself as the lead bid for the 2010 Winter Games.
The IOC evaluation committee – headed by chairman Gerhard Heiberg - arrived at the weekend and will spend the next few days examining the city and its plans should it win the Games.
Bid organisers will be hoping for another success following the plebiscite it staged which saw 64 percent of inhabitants voting in favour of the bid.
