The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has concluded a deal with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), for coverage of the first Indoor Hockey World Cup.
The deal was struck via the FIH's exclusive TV rights agent, Octagon CSI.
The tournament runs from February 5-9, in Leipzig, Germany.
The deal will give EBU members free access to news and highlights of the matches.
The FIH will also be distributing a daily newsfeed of the event, free of rights fees, available world-wide from news agencies Reuters, SNTV or directly on request from Octagon/CSI in London.
