The deal is aimed to boost 'Inter’s marketing activities and intellectual properties in the region'.
“By forming such strategic alliances with Inter, ProEvents will become the only fully operational football marketing, management and consultancy company in Asia,” said Paul Kam, chairman of ProEvents.
“We have already identified several key markets and long term marketing programmes for Inter and are confident that we will be able to implement these activities in a well-structured manner in Asia.”
Added Jefferson Slack, managing director of Inter: “Inter believes Asia is fantastic market to increase the presence and appeal of our club. As such we are pleased to be partnered with ProEvents who has excellent track records with clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and both the China and Brazil national teams. We will be able to utilise ProEvents’ knowledge and expertise in Asia to expand our 'off the pitch' activities with a broader commercial platform.”
The key business areas of the partnership include identifying regional licensing and merchandising opportunities, sponsorship, setting up football clinic/school and fan clubs, scouting talented Asian youth players and promoting links with local football associations and teams.
