PTV scores with Snow Valley

Premium TV (PTV) has teamed up with multi-channel commerce firm, Snow Valley, to upgrade the online stores in a roll out programme across PTV’s UK soccer club network.

PTV owns the online and mobile media rights to 80 UK football clubs, including the 72 clubs of the UK Football League, several Premiership clubs and Glasgow Rangers from the Scottish Premier League.
Snow Valley was chosen as PTV’s e-commerce partner following a series of strongly competitive pitches.
The first stores, for Newcastle United, Middlesbrough and Leicester City, went live recently and are to be followed by stores for Glasgow Rangers and Football League clubs thereafter.
The principal aims of the project are to increase sales revenues, improve customer service and efficiency, and enhance PTV’s CRM strategy through integration of the stores with its centralised database.
Faisal Ahmed, head of e-commerce at Premium TV, said: “Merchandising represents a significant slice of our clubs’ incomes, and so it is important that each club has an online store capable of realising the potential revenues. By working with Snow Valley, we can provide our clubs with online stores that greatly improve both performance and manageability, and allow the further development of our CRM capabilities.”
