The new four-year deal adds to the 11-year relationship between the two brands.
The announcement comes on the back of FIFA's decision to grant a 2006 World Cup berth to Oceania - a berth Australia is hot favourite to claim.
The sponsorship will benefit all teams under Soccer Australia's banner, ncluding the Socceroos, Olympic (Under-23), youth (Under-20 and Under 17’s) and womens’ teams (seniors and Under-19).
Said adidas Australia marketing director Paul Sweet: "We hope FIFA's announcement will represent a new dawn for soccer in this country, and we are delighted to play our part in the build-up to the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany."
Soccer Australia said it would not disclose the specific details of the partnership, however it confirmed the agreement involved a seven-figure cash sum over four years, in addition to substantial product support from its national teams and potential merchandising royalties.
