United seek academy agency

English Premier League soccer club Newcastle United is looking to appoint an agency to help market its new training and academy complex.

The successful agency will be tasked with bringing on board either four partners, or one key partner with naming rights to the academy
complex.

The package is also likely to include matchday hospitality and TV
exposure, as well as branding within the club's home ground of St.
James' Park.

Darsley Park, which is due for completion later this year, will
House five full-size football pitches and a full-size indoor Astroturf pitch.

Said Trevor Garwood, Newcastle's director of commercial affairs: "This is a prime opportunity for an agency to bring major clients to
the table, and to get involved in the future of one of the most
passionate clubs in the country."
