Air deal blows through Sauber

Formula One team Sauber Petronas has signed a long-term partnership with compressed air suppliers Kaeser Kompressoren.

The German-headquartered firm is responsible for the complex compressed air supply system in Sauber Petronas' wind tunnel facility currently being built in Hinwil.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sauber Petronas will grant Kaeser various marketing rights, and the company's logo will be placed on the walls of the Sauber Petronas garage at Grand Prix circuits around the world.

Said team principal Peter Sauber: "Kaeser are making a very important technological contribution to our new wind tunnel project. In return, we're providing Kaeser with a platform that will enable the company to raise the visibility and public awareness of its brand name internationally."
