Mark Beard, the long-serving head of sport for satellite distribution firm GlobeCast, has left the company for pastures new.
After eight years of service at GlobeCast, Beard has moved onto a new role at BBC Technology with immediate effect.
Graham Smith is internally promoted to take on the role as head of sport for GlobeCast Europe left vacant by Beard's departure.
