Blatter, himself a Swiss, has branded UEFA's decision on the host nations as 'crazy'.
His view stems from the creation of three new stadiums in Switzerland in time for the hosting of the tournament which Blatter believes will have a detrimental effect on the Swiss league as a whole. Swiss clubs Servette, Young Boys and Grasshoppers will be the recipients of the new stadia.
The FIFA president reportedly stated: "I find it crazy that a tournament will be held in Switzerland. The new stadium projects must now be realised but the other clubs also need to have it, otherwise we will have a four-team league.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter has launched an astonishing attack on UEFA's decision to award the 2008 European Championships to a joint bid from Austria and Switzerland, according to media reports.
