The First Division club went into voluntary liquidation at the weekend and the latest blow has been instructed by liquidator Juan Debaere, according to UEFA.
Mechelen had hoped the decision to declare themselves insolvent would attract investors. But with no new revenue streams forthcoming, the liquidator decided to terminate the contracts of all club employees.
Due to its current situation, it has applied to the Belgian Football Association to postpone this weekend's home fixture as it bids to raise the necessary funds.
Said assistant coach Alex Czerniatynski: "We will not be paid in the next few days, we will have to give back our club cars, and there is no insurance money left. So even if the players wanted to play next weekend, it would not be feasible."
Financially troubled Belgian soccer club KV Mechelen has been forced to release its entire playing and backroom staff after going into liquidation.
