Following the success of this year's inaugural exhibition, the 2nd SPOEX conference will take place between March 28-31, 2003.
SPOEX 2003 is expecting to play host to some 300 exhibitors from over 50 countries as it establishes itself as one of Asia's more prominent trade fairs for sports and leisure goods.
SPOEX thrives on its ability to open up the lucrative Korean market to the sports industry. Over 2001, Koreans spent a total of $6.3billion on sports and leisure activities, accounting for 15 percent of the country's GDP. The country's hosting of this summer's World Cup is also expected to boost this revenue further still.
The organisers of the Seoul International Sports & Leisure Exhibition (SPOEX) have unveiled the dates for next year's event.
