The primary rights to the tournament in Belgium will be shared between VRT (Flemish-language) and RTL TVI (French-language) while Israeli network JCS has snapped up the Champions League coverage for its Sport 5 channel after reaching an agreement with TEAM.
Both contracts run for three years beginning with the 2003/2004 season.
While VRT and RTL TVI will transmit live matches on Tuesday and Wednesday night as well as highlights coverage, JCS has the option to sub-license the rights to terrestrial networks within Israel.
UEFA and its agency TEAM Marketing have announced two new broadcast rights deals for the next Champions League contract in Belgium and Israel.
