Golf's British Masters is to be given a facelift and 'massive' cash injection following an agreement reached between The European Tour and International Sports Management.
ISM, part of the Sports Resource Group, is to promote the British Masters for the next three years and intends to turn it into one of the key events on The European Tour international schedule.
The event will have a new venue, date and increased prize money when The European Tour international schedule is announced in the near future.
The Marriott Forest of Arden, Warwickshire, England, will host the British Masters on June 5-8, 2003, with a prize fund of £1.5 million (EUR2.3m).
