Becker, whose BCI company recently took over the running of the Hamburg Masters Series, faces a possible five-year jail sentence over claims he failed to pay EUR1.5m to German tax authorities.
Becker stands accused of living in Germany while claiming he lived in Monaco, a move designed to make him avoid paying German taxes.
