The new department will be led by Phaedra MacDowel and Karen Jones who will run the Sponsorship Leveraging and Event Management aspects of the department and Tim Collins who will run all Communication and PR activity for sponsorship clients.
All three joined from Sportsworld Media Group where they ran sponsorship accounts for a number of clients including Travelex, Cheltenham & Gloucester, Nationwide and Powergen.
Interfocus managing director Chris Zandonati said: "The sponsorship division is part of our restructure that sees the development of six new areas of expertise including Retail, FMCG, Financial, Healthcare, Public Sector and Technology. Sponsorship consultancy and management will be offered across all these sectors."
As part of a wider restructure of its business, Interfocus has launched a specialist sponsorship division.
