The deal incorporates exclusive commentary rights to the triangular one-day series involving Australia, England and Sri Lanka as well as the five Test Ashes series.
The radio commentary of the series will be broadcast as part of the long-running Test Match Special programme on BBC Radio Four with regular updates on BBC Radio Five Live. The broadcasts will also be available on digital radio and television.
Satellite platform Sky Sports holds the live television rights while terrestrial broadcaster Channel 4 is screening daily highlights.
