The tournament, which takes place in Perth, Australia between February 13-16 for the second consecutive year, has recieved a £100,000 ($155,410/EUR158,730) boost to its cashpot due to the success of last year's event.
Said West Australian Tourism Minister Clive Brown:
"mportantly, the event generates significant international media coverage and has a very positive economic impact for the State and we look forward to welcoming the event back to Perth in 2003."

Prize money for the Johnnie Walker Classic golf tournament will top £1million ($1.5m/EUR1.6m) for the first time in its history next year.
