Soccer's governing body together with the 2006 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee, declared that the emblem for the tournament would be revealed one day prior to a friendly match between Germany and the Netherlands.
Said Franz Beckenbauer, president of the 2006 World Cup organising committee: "The presentation of the official tournament emblem will kick off all of our national and international public relations efforts."
The unveiling of the new logo will be held at the 'AufSchalke' stadium, home of Bundesliga team FC Schalke 04.
FIFA has announced that the official logo for the 2006 World Cup, to be held in Germany, will be unveiled on November 19.
