The Australian Rugby Union (ARU) has announced that tickets to next year's rugby World Cup will be made available using an Olympic-style ballot system.
Sales of the one million-plus tickets will go on sale next month. Prices for the event will range from A$2.50 ($1.37) to A$535 ($294) for the final at the Telstra Stadium in Sydney.
The World Cup starts on October 10, 2003. All 48 matches will be played in Australia following a decision earlier this year from the International Rugby Board not to allow New Zealand to co-host the event with its neighbours.
