According to the 'Official Journal of the European Communities', published this week, both UEFA and the clubs will have a right to provide video content on the internet as of midnight on the night of the match.
UEFA will be able to show action from all matches, whereas the clubs can only show streaming video from matches in which they are direct participants.
The content will be based on the raw feed from television and clubs will pay a fee for either the UEFA-branded internet service or the raw feed, which can be branded as a club product.
UEFA also intends to build a wireless 3G product that will show audio/video content and make use of an extensive video database, developed by UEFA. Again, clubs can acquire the raw feed from UEFA or participate in the UEFA service.
