The agreement will see SunTrust become the 'official bank' of the team.
"SunTrust has provided banking services to the Atlanta Falcons for more than 20 years, and as such, it is appropriate that we become the official bank of the Falcons," said J. Scott Wilfong, SunTrust Bank, Atlanta's president and chief executive officer. "Now that the team is entering a new era with new ownership, and has a renewed focus and spirit, we wanted to share in the excitement."
The Atlanta Falcons franchise was acquired by Arthur Blank in February 2002.
