Kasparov signs new agent

Chess legend Garry Kasparov has signed a major new deal, the backbone of which will be to use the Kasparov brand to sell a range of products.

The chess player has signed a three-year deal with Clipper Media - part of the Galleon Group licensing firm - to become his agent.

Clipper now intend to use 'the intellectual personality of Kasparov' to sell a range of goods, including watches, luggage, computers and, according to the report in the UK's Daily Mail, chess sets.
