The commercial rights to professional snooker look set to be awarded to the World Sport Group after its main rival pulled out of the bidding process on the eve of today's crunch players meeting.
World Snooker Enterprises, a company set up by the event management firm, was due to battle it out with Altium Sports (Snooker) Ltd to win the right to partner the sport's governing body, World Snooker, at a meeting today.
