NBA sticks with Pepsi

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has renewed its marketing deal with Gatorade, a soft drink manufactured by Pepsi.

As part of the deal, Gatorade will be designated the official sports drink of the NBA, the Women's NBA and the National Basketball Development League.

Financial contracts will also include courtside advertising for Gatorade and player endorsement agreements.

"Gatorade will utilise the NBA's unparalleled ability to connect to basketball players and fans," Tom Fox, Gatorade's vice president of sports and event marketing, said in a statement.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
