The three-year agreement makes Qantas Airways the official airline of One Basketball, which covers the Australian Basketball Association (ABA), the National Basketball League (NBL), the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) and the Australian Basketball Federation.
Said National Basketball League chief executive Peter Ali: "To have a major international brand like Qantas come on board as a partner shows that there is significant interest in our league and our sport amongst the corporate sector."
Qantas held the same sponsorship role until a year ago when Ansett took over in a short-lived deal, which was terminated when the airline company collapsed.
Australian airline Qantas has renewed its sponsorship of Australian basketball just a year after it was ousted by its now-defunct rival Ansett.
