Sports2i, the official statistician for the league has signed a deal with technology firm QuesTec to use its systems for TV production, official league statistics and internet and wireless distribution.
QuesTec systems are currently being used during all home games of the Doosan Bears and the Lucky Goldstar Twins.
Said Edward J. Plumacher, founder of QuesTec: "In addition to our virtual replay system, Sports2i is also using the unique content produced by our technology to create and package data sets for the Korean Baseball Organisation and other clients."
