Within seconds of him completing a round, subscribers to the mobile phone service will be given details on how Faldo performed.
They will also be able to access futher information about him via voicemail services.
"I wanted to find a way to give something back to golf fans and this service will bring me closer to them, giving more of a personal insight into what I do," Faldo said yesterday.
The deal is unlikely to be used by spectators of the Open - they have been strictly ordered to turn off their mobile phones during the tournament.
Faldo has built up a large portfolio of business ventures in the last year under the unmbrella of the Nick Faldo Golf Company including course designs around the world, teaching centres and a chain of restaurants and shops.
