Sports apparel giant adidas-Salomon has decided not to extend its sponsorship deal with basketball star Kobe Bryant.
Adidas announced that the decision was a mutual one and would now allow both itself and Kobe to pursue new marketing opportunities.
"We wish Kobe well in his future endeavours and continued success in the NBA. Adidas appreciates Kobe's efforts to promote the adidas brand over the last few years," an adidas spokesman said.
