Telecommunications firm Cable & Wireless has signed a $475,000 (EUR502,167) sponsorship deal for the World Netball Championship in Jamaica next year.
It will additionally provide support by way of web hosting and providing mobile, fixed telephone and data services.
The championship also confirmed a new two-court netball arena costing $6.25m (EUR6.61m) will be built for the 2003 event.
