MLB Advanced Media, the interactive media and internet company of Major League Baseball said more than six million visitors came to MLB.com during the 48-hour period, with about 4.7 million, or about 80 percent, being unique visitors.
About 81,000 fans, or close to double the number of last year, listened to the draft proceedings on MLB Radio, which provided the only live broadcast of the draft, with an average listen time of about 33 minutes.
