World Cup fans denied tickets

Up to 141,000 Japanese football fans have still not received their World Cup tickets because of a printing delay.

"We will individually contact all domestic fans who have not received their tickets and ask them to pick them up at the venue cities," said Shinichiro Misono, director general at JAWOC, Japan's World Cup organisers.

Byrom Consultants, a Manchester-based company appointed by FIFA to produce the tickets, missed a deadline last week to print a batch of 150,000.
