The climax of the NBA season provided TBS and TNT with the top two slots in the advertising supported cable networks for the week-ending 19th May with the highest rated individual game being TBS' coverage of the San Antonio Spurs/LA Lakers on 14th May which average a 3.9 rating.
The second highest rated game was that between the Philadelphia 76ers/Boston Celtics (13th May) which won TNT a 3.5 rating.
The National Basketball Association (NBA) play-offs have given US cable companies TBS and TNT a real boost.
