An extension of the existing one-year contract, the new agreement sees Powerade continue in its role as team sponsors of Glamorgan's one-day and County Championship cricket teams.
Glamorgan is not the only sports franchise to benefit from the sponsorship support of Powerade with the Italian football team and the Australian rugby and cricket teams all boasting the soft drinks brand amongst their sponsor portfolios.
Gerry Stacey, regional director of Coca-Cola Enterprises in Wales, stated: "We're continuing our involvement with Glamorgan as part of our long-term strategy for sport. Sponsorship is about more than signing the contract and handing over the cheque. Our support is, and should be, interactive."
