Tobacco sponsorship under fire

Max Mosley, the president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) will address the Legal Affairs Committee of the European Parliament today, to outline the FIA's policy on tobacco sponsorship in international motor sport.

Sponsorship by the tobacco industry in motor sport began in 1968 and is worth an estimated $350million ($397m) every year.
