FIFA has said it intends to revive the World Club Championship - despite widespread apathy among corporate backers - and confirmed it has scrapped talks with Ladbrokes about an online betting venture for this summer's World Cup.
The World Club Championship was scrapped amid the demise of ISL - with the failure of the Swiss firm being cited as the cause of the event's cancellation.
