Said team principal Darrell Healey: "It is with regret that Cable & Wireless has had to unexpectedly withdraw.
"However, I can also confirm that the exclusion of Cable & Wireless will have no bearing on HM Plant Ducati/GSE Racing's future in the
Superbike World Championship.
"Although this has come as a major disappointment to all concerned, it is business as usual for the team and I would like to thank all concerned for their co-operation and understanding on this matter."
