ITV Digital rethinks Nationwide League deal

Tagged in &

The £315million ($446.5m/EUR515.6m) deal between UK broadcaster ITV Digital and the Nationwide League could be renegotiated in a bid to ease costs at the loss-making pay-TV operation.

According to The Times newspaper, talks are set to take place between the two parties as part of "a fundamental restructuring of ITV Digital's cost base", which is now under review by consultants Deloitte & Touche.

ITV Digital's joint-venture partners, Carlton and Granada, are also due to meet BSkyB executives over the wholesale price of sports and movie channels.
