The team will be led by Roch Pellerin, who has been named as the network's managing director.
Most recently, Pellerin served as chief financial officer of leading French pay television operators Canal+ Distribution and Canal Satellite, and was formerly chief operating officer in charge of sales, marketing, finance and administration at Eurosport France.
Pellerin will be responsible for guiding ESPN Classic Sport on a day-to-day basis in all areas of operation throughout Europe and will report to a board of the company appointed by ESPN and Sports Capital Partners, co-owners of the network.
Other members of the team include Tony Stimpson, director of programming; Jamie Baker, director of production and operations; Andrew Grocott, director of finance; Alison Holliday, director of marketing and promotions; Alan Pritchard, technical broadcast manager; Moira Gill, director of human resources; and Chris Nicholls, director of advertising sales.
Based in London, ESPN Classic Sport is 70 percent owned by ESPN, Inc and 30 percent owned by Sports Capital Partners.
