Nevada State Athletic Commissioners are scheduled to consider Tyson's bid for a license to fight world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis today with opinion appeared split over his chances.
It puts a question mark over boxing's most lucrative fight, and will once again bring the credibility of the sport into question.
Tyson must face the commission exactly one week after triggering a wild brawl at a press conference in New York to promote the April 6 bout against Lewis, the reigning World Boxing Council and International Boxing Federation champion.
