The Press Association, the national news agency for the UK and Ireland, has announced a package of digital content services for this summer's World Cup, despite FIFA's recent decision not to broadcast the competition live on the internet.
PA will therefore provide live internet statistics during the event, as well as running textual reports to internet sites and short messaging service (SMS) companies.
In the run-up to the games, which begin on May 31, PA will provide preview features and guides to each of the 32 teams competing in the event.
