Neuberger Berman hires sports chief

US-based money management company Neuberger Berman has hired sports attorney Marvin Demoff to head up its Private Asset Management Sports Group.

Demof will join the firm in February as managing director of Neuberger Berman, LLC and will lead the Sports Group, which was formed three years ago to serve the investment and financial needs of athletes, their agents and business managers.
Demoff's clients presently include top NFL players, coaches, and broadcasters. Demoff has previously represented professional tennis, baseball, and basketball players.
Neuberger Berman, through its subsidiaries, has over $50billion (EUR57bn) in assets under management.
