Craig launches F1 Radio

The US Formula One Radio Network will launch in March courtesy of ex-ISL executive and CART CEO Andrew Craig.

Craig snapped up the US radio rights to the Formula One season from Bernie Ecclestone and will be the exclusive broadcaster for all 17 Grand Prix.

"Formula One has the potential to grow in the US," said Craig, who now runs his own firm, the Craig Company. "There is a solid fan base for F1 among US motorsport fans and from the fan feedback we are getting, the opportunity to access the sport through radio will be welcomed.

"We think the US Formula One Radio Network will perform very well in the market place."

Broadcast sponsorship and advertising is available through a limited number of exclusive packages that, as well as ad spots, will provide sponsored F1 profiles and features.

Sponsorship and advertising is being handled directly by the Craig Company.

Syndication of the US Formula One Radio Network is handled by Creative Broadcast Consulting.
