A major conference on bidding for and hosting major sports events will be held in Manchester, England, immediately after the Commonwealth Games this year.
Titled 'Bid to Benefit', the event will include keynote speeches from senior figures at both the IOC and FIFA, according to its organisers, the Manchester Investment & Development Agency Service (MIDAS).
Chief executive of MIDAS, Neil Fountain said: "We expect to attract delegates from around the globe from potential bid cities, countries and sports governing bodies."
The event takes place at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester, from August 5-7.
