The former chief executive of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) is to sue the governing body for breach of contract.
Jim McKenzie was dismissed last month from his second spell in charge of the WPBSA.
He is seeking £100,000 ($144,500/EUR162,180) in damages.
