Denver will try to land a Super Bowl on condition that the National Football League (NFL) allows the 2007 title to be played outdoors in a cold-weather stadium.
The NFL has discussed bringing the game to the New York Giants or Washington Redskins stadiums to help areas affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Since the first Super Bowl in 1967, games have been played in warm weather or at indoor stadiums.
