The three-year deal between Dorna Sports, which has run all commercial and TV rights for the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix since 1992, and Prima TV, the first privately-owned television station in the Czech Republic, is an extension of an existing relationship between the two parties.
Since 2000 Prima TV has been the only television station in the Czech Republic with the licence to broadcast direct telecasts of the motorcycling competition.
Dorna Sports and Prima TV have signed a deal which grants the broadcasting rights for motorcycling's MotoGP World Championship in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
