The hosts for the next three Final Four events in European basketball's calendar have been chosen by Euroleague chiefs.
Bologna will host the 2002 event, Barcelona 2003 and Tel Aviv 2004.
Says a Euroleague spokesman: "The criteria was the basketball tradition of the city, the organisational capacity of the candidate, the infrastructure of the sports facilities, communications, transportation and hotel capacity, and the support from public and private institutions."
