Asia’s SmackDown! Tour will start at the Yokohama Arena in Tokyo, Japan, on March 1.
Performances will also be held at the Indoor Stadium in Singapore on March 3, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on March 4. Total Sports Asia will coordinate the Asian tour.
WWFE will also add events around its 'Insurrextion' pay-per-view event on May 4 at London’s Wembley Arena.
The three new events will be in the UK and Germany. In addition, WWFE will be scheduling an event for Australia in summer 2002 and a second European tour in the autumn. Specific dates and venues will be announced later.
Said Roger Marment, executive vice president, international business development at WWFE: “We believe that our international business will increase significantly as we conduct live event tours in Asia, Europe and Australia throughout 2002.”
